Direct Gov have launched a website to help visitors to London for the Royal Wedding Celebrations.The website provides a lot of very useful information if you intend to visit London for the celebrations. The marriage of Prince William and Miss Catherine Middleton will take place at Westminster Abbey on Friday 29 April 2011. The wedding service will begin at 11am.
There will be a special bank holiday for the royal wedding on Friday 29 April 2011. The extra bank holiday will also apply to Scotland.
Kate Middleton will travel along The Mall from Buckingham Palace to the abbey by car.
At around 12pm, after the ceremony, the newlyweds will return to Buckingham Palace in a grand carriage procession along a route that goes through:
Parliament Square
Whitehall
Horse Guards Parade
The Mall
The final public appearance of the day is likely to be on the Buckingham Palace balcony at around 1.30pm when the couple kiss for the cameras!
