London Ice Sculpting Festival 15-16 January 2010

International Ice Sculpting
Europe's leading ice specialist, The Ice Box, and art event company, Artalone, have great pleasure in announcing that the 2nd London Ice Sculpting Festival will be held in the centre of Canary Wharf, next to the ice rink in Canada Square Park.

The Competition
The Festival will be a timed, international competition between five teams of ice sculptors from around the globe. Each team will carve their interpretation of the Festival’s specially chosen theme, ‘Cool Trading’, from 2m blocks of ice!

Judging
Will you agree with the judges decision? Find out at 3.00pm on Saturday 16 January when the medals and a specially commissioned glass trophy will be awarded to the winning team.

Master Classes
Add to the excitement by having-a-go at sculpting small blocks of ice yourself!
The Master Classes are available to anyone over 12 yrs of age and they’re FREE! However, places are limited so they must be booked at the Festival in Canada Square Park.

Entry
The London Ice Sculpting Festival is FREE for everyone to attend. Whatever the weather, you’ll have a great time at the Festival because surrounding it are Canary Wharf’s vibrant bars, restaurants and retail outlets.
