Green Day will be playing at Wembley Stadium for the first ever on Saturday 19 June 2010.The band visited Wembley Stadium to announce the show. Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said: "Playing Wembley Stadium is kind one of those moments in your career when you just go holy s***!
"It's going to be great because Wembley has a long tradition of rock concerts with the likes of U2, Foo Fighters and Muse playing here in the past and we're just happy to be part of that."
